Page 5B, Column 4TRURO RESIDENT DIES AT 87 YEARS
Mrs. Lois E. Miller of Truro died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at a rest home in St. Charles, at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Miller was a life-time resident of Madison county. She was the former Lois E. Simpson, daughter of George and Sarah Blair Simpson, and was born at Hanley Sept. 10, 1878.
She was married April 16, 1896, to Henry Miller. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Reva Morris of Winterset, Mrs. Florence Creger of Aurora, Mrs. Mary Barker of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Mildred Hawkins of Ainsworth, Mrs. Zola Munson of Clairemore, Okla., and Mrs. Dollie Felton of Victor; two sons, Clyde Miller of Truro and Phil Miller of Nevada; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held last Friday from the Truro Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Nicholson. Burial was made in Blair Chapel cemetery.
