LOUIS MILLER OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Well-Known Resident There Died July 2 at Age Of 80 Years

Louis F. Miller, a well-known resident of the St. Charles community, died Tuesday, July 2, at his home in St. Charles. He was 80 years of age.

Mr. Miller had lived nearly all his life near St. Charles. He was born near Carlisle on Sept. 17, 1882, a son of Jacob A. and Sarah E. Smith Miller. He was married Sept. 21, 1904 to Mona M. Banta. Her death occurred in 1923. His second wife, Margaret died in 1943.

He engaged in farming near St. Charles during his active years. He was a member of the Christian church there.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Travis of Newton; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a step-son, Albert Crandal; and a step grandson.

Funeral services were held Friday from St. Charles Christian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. James Farrell. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
