HAROLD E. STEPHENSON, St. Charles

Services for Harold Everette Stephenson, 75, St. Charles, who died Dec. 24, 1988 at Des Moines General Hospital, were held Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles.

Mr. Stephenson worked for the Armstrong Tire Co. in Des Moines and retired in 1970. He lived in Des Moines from 1954 to 1980 before moving to St. Charles in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Burla, of St. Charles; a daughter, Elizabeth Palmer of Truro; a son, Clifford Stephenson of St. Charles; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two sisters-in-laws, Mildred Stephenson of Des Moines and Phoebe Stephenson of Osceola.
