Gwendolyn Miller, Osceola

Gwendolyn Jane Miller, 87, died November 27, 1993 at her home in Leisure Manor Nursing Home in Osceola. Funeral services were held at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Richard Harbart of Johnston officiating. Burial was at Young Cemetery.

She was born December 13, 1906 in Nevada to Pearl R. and Katty Belle (Allen) Frazier. She married Coy Miller on September 156, 1930 in Des Moines. She was a housewife, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Truro and Congregational United Church of Christ in Truro.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, and one sister, Ivadelle Frazier.

Surviving relatives include her husband; one son, Robert Miller and wife Marilyn of Charles City; one twin sister, Geraldyn Conrad of Truro; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn Jane Miller, daughter of Pearl R. and Katty Belle Allen Frazier, was born Dec. 13, 1906, at Nevada and died Nov. 27, 1993, at Osceola Leisure Manor in Osceola. She was 87. She graduated from Ames High School in Ames.

She married Coy Miller on Sept. 15,1930, and the couple became the parents of a son, Robert.

Mrs. Miller, a longtime resident of the Truro community was a member of the Oak Run Circle, the Order of Eastern Star and attended the Congregational United Church of Christ. She was a resident of Leisure Manor for the past seven years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Tom, Galen and Bert Frazier and a sister, Ivadelle Frazier.

Surviving Mrs. Miller are her husband, Coy Miller of Truro; son, Robert Miller and his wife, Marilyn Miller, of Charles City; two grandchildren, Leah Weber of Charles City and Kip Allen Miller of Ames; two great-grandsons, Christian James Weber and Jared Robert Weber; her twin sister, Geraldyn Conrad of Truro; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

Services for Mrs. Miller were Nov. 30 at Kale Funeral Home in Truro with Rev. Richard Harbart officiating. Organist, Pennie Gonseth and soloist Emil Rinderspacher performed the musical selections In the Garden and How Great Thou Art.

Casket bearers were Dale Lytton, Lee Parker, Boyd Kale, Marvin Phillips, Richard Fenimore and Frank Harris. Honorary casket bearers were Lyle Luers, Ed Jones and Cecil Miller, Interment was in Young Cemetery in Madison County.
