Services for Mary Lenore Martin, 74, Pasadena, Texas, who died Dec. 31 at Pasadena Bayshore Hospital were held Thursday, Jan. 2 at Forest Park Funeral Home in Houston. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery there.
Born in Winterset March 17, 1911, she was the daughter of Walter A. and Bessie Cord. She grew up in Winterset and attended Winterset schools. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
On July 5, 1934, she married Jim Martin of Houston, Texas.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Hein of Pasadena; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Helen Day, Fern Cord, Reva Murphy of Winterset and Dorothy Dethlefs of Williamsburg, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son and one sister.
