Mrs. C. M. Robison

Mrs. C. M. Robison, 57, of Winterset, died at the General hospital in Des Moines on Tuesday morning, August 17. Mrs. Robison had been a surgery patient at the hospital for two weeks and was thought to be recuperating satisfactorily

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Tom Foglesong on Thursday, August 19, in the Ramsey–Richards Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The pallbearers were Ross Jamison, Walter Schoenenberger, Frank Welch, Grover Mease, Jim Allen, and Charles Armbrest. Verle Flood sang a solo, accompanied by Mrs. Bird Wiley. Interment was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Winifred Mae Frazier, daughter of Fremont and Ollie Frazier, was born at Grenola, Kan., on October 14, 1885. When a young woman, she moved with her parents to Iowa. She was united in marriage to Clifford Milton Robison on February 11, 1906 in Winterset. To this union were born five children, all of whom survive.

She was united with the Christian church at Silom Springs, Ark., early in life and later transferred her church membership to the Church of Christ in Winterset.

She is survived by her husband, five children, Andrew F. Robison, Mrs. Ira Johnson, Mrs. Horatio Simmons, Curtis F. Robison and Mrs. Floyd Dennis, all of Winterset; her mother, Mrs. Ollie Colvin of Winterset; one sister, Mrs. Montie Kinney of Bondurant; ---missing text--- len. He has been on active duty near Sicily recently.

MRS. CLIFF ROBISON DIES IN DES MOINES

Death Comes Suddenly to Local Resident in Des Moines Hospital

Mrs. Cliff M. Robison, well known Madison county resident, died at the General hospital in Des Moines early Tuesday morning, Aug. 17th at the age of 57 years. Mrs. Robison who had gone to the General hospital Aug. 5th for surgery, was recuperating satisfactorily, and had planned to return home today. However a blood clot developed about 11 o'clock Monday night, and death came shortly after midnight.

Mrs. Robison was the former Winifred Mae Frazer, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fremont Frazer. She was born Oct. 14, 1885 at Grenada, Kans., and came to this county with her parents when she was 18 years of age. Here she was married Feb. 11, 1906 to Mr. Robison, and they have since made this county their home. They first lived in Lincoln township, but for the past fourteen years have lived on a farm south of Winterset.

Mrs. Robison is survived by her husband and their five children, Andrew Robison, Mrs. Ira Johnson, Mrs. Horatio Simmons, Curtis Robison, and Mrs. Floyd Dennis, all of Winterset or Madison county. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Ollie Colvin of Winterset, two sisters, and a brother: Mrs. Montie Kinney of Bondurant, Mrs. Richard Stanfield of Ankeny, and Harold Colvin of Burlington, and three granchildren, Kathryn and Clifford Wayne Johnson and Sandra Anne Robison of Winterset.

Mrs. Robison has been a member of the Winterset Church of Christ since she came to this county.

The Rev. Tom Foglesong will conduct her funeral services at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home Thursday afternoon, Aug. 19th, at 2 o'clock, and burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
