WALLACE WALTZ RITES WEDNESDAY

Burial Made at Lorimor for Victim of Hit-Run Driver

Funeral services for Wallace Waltz, the 20-year-old youth killed by a hit and run driver on highway No. 92 west of Winterset Sunday night, were held from Andersons home for funerals in Winterset Wednesday. The Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset officiated. Burial was made at Lorimor.

Irvin Wallace Waltz was born at Winterset on Oct. 21, 1921 the son of Luie and Lucy Waltz. He attended the Winterset schools, and his home has always been in Madison county. His death occurred early Monday at the Winterset hospital.

He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Eugene, Myles and Lloyd; four sisters, Ruby, Marjorie Anne, Annabelle and Janite; and a great grandmother Mrs. Martha Whitt of Winterset.

One brother, Donald was killed five years ago at the age of 12 years, when he was struck by a bicycle.
