Thomas Manning, Winterset

Thomas Dale Manning, 55, of Winterset, died of a heart attack May 24, 2004 at his home.

Graveside services were held Thursday, May 27, at Fairview Cemetery, Madison Township, Madison County with Dr. John Shaull officiating.

Tom Manning was born June 14, 1948, in Des Moines to Bert Lee and Elsie Louise (McKinney) Manning. A resident of Winterset for most of his life, Tom had worked for Innovative Industries and also done some farm work.

He is survived by his parents, Bert and Elsie Manning of Winterset; four brothers, Wayne Manning of Winterset, Steve Manning of Earlham, Joe Manning of Van Meter and Randy Manning of Windsor Heights; and six sisters, Janet Zike of Altoona, Jo Ann Berry of Peru, Sue Thompson of Winterset, Peg Herman of Truro and Polly Brandt and Angel Davis, both of Waukee.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
