ERNEST C. FIELD DIED ON THURSDAY

Succumbs to Heart Attack At Age of 63 Years

Ernest C. Field of Winterset, a carpenter for 42 years, most of which was spent in this community, died at his home here last Thursday, May 22, following a heart attack. He was ill but a few hours.

Mr. Field was 63 years of age. He was born near Winterset on March 9, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Field. Nearly all of his life was spent in this community.

Mr. Field had worked at the carpenter trade for most of his active life. He was a member of the Winterset Foursquare church, and a respected citizen of the community.

He was married May 10, 1913, to Delia M. Brown, who, with their daughter, Mrs. Dorothy E. Cale, survives. He also leaves a brother, A. L. Field of Winterset, and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Keown of Mountain View, Okla., and Mrs. Marie Burd of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held Sunday from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. L. A. Morrison, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
