Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Wed., Aug. 19 for Hubert H. Stippich, 95, at Winterset Kingdom Hall. Mr. Stippich died August 15, 1992 at Des Moines General Hospital.
Mr. Stippich was born on July 19, 1897 in Stitcher, Wis. He married Louisia M. Fleming in Chicago on August 17, 1922. After her death he married Elsie Ruggles in Waukee on February 1, 1967. He had resided in Winterset since 1967.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, two daughters and two grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Audrey Welte of Denver, Colo., Orla Karjala of Chaska, Minn., and Huberta Fenstermacher of Spring Valley, Minn.; four stepchildren, Lola Mae Brittain of Waukee, Darrel Baumgardner of Huxley, Veryl Ruggles of Huntley, Ill., and Frank Baumgardner of Casey, 37 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
