MRS. B. C. ADAMS OF WINTERSET PASSES

Long-Time Madison County Resident Died Here Monday

Mrs. Anna Bell Adams, long-time resident of Madison county, died here Monday, Dec. 8th. Mrs. Adams, a daughter of Will and Annie Smith, was born in Maine, Aug. 14, 1865. Mrs. Adams, who was 76 years of age, spent her entire life in Madison county, with the exception of a few years in childhood.

On Sept. 21, 1884, she was married to Buell C. Adams, who preceded her in death May 29, 1934. They were the parents of eight children, two of whom preceded the mother in death, Harry, who died in 1939, and Gladys in infancy.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her six children: Mrs. Gertrude Stron of Winterset; Sidney, at home; Clyde Adams, of Creston; Glen Adams of Winterset; Mrs. Opal Wiley of St. Charles; and Robert Adams of Bakersfield, Cal.

The Rev. L. F. Davis conducted her funeral services at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home at 2 o'clock this afternoon and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
