MRS. VICTOR MCLUCAS DIES

Mrs. M. E. Smith received word Wednesday morning of the death of her sister, Mrs. Victor McLucas at Santa Monica, California. Mrs. McLucas who was 50 years of age died Monday, but the message was thought to have been delayed on acccount of the death of Mr. Smith.

Mrs. McLucas was the former Miss Eva McLeod, and was a former resident of Winterset, when her husband, the late Judge McLucas was a partner in the drug business with his brother-in-law, M. E. Smith. Mrs. McLucas had been in poor health for a long time, but her condidtion was not regarded as serious. No details of her illness nor the funeral arrangements have been received.

Mrs. McLucas is survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Sarah McLeod and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Westover of Santa Monica. She also leaves a brother Norman McLeod of Escondido and the sister, Mrs. Smith of Winterset. Her husband died July 10th from heart trouble.
