LEE TOWNSHIP RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Charles McLaughlin Had Lived 51 Years on One Farm

Mrs. Charles McLaughlin, a well-known resident of Lee township, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, at a Des Moines hospital, after an illness of three weeks.

Mrs. McLaughlin was a daughter of George and Margaret Aller, and was a life-long resident of the Cumming community. She was married Sept. 6, 1916, to Charles McLaughlin. They had lived 51 years on the same farm in Lee township.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary society and the Mercy Hospital guild.

Surviving are her husband; seven sons, Charles of Des Moines, Vernon, Lewis and Ray of Cumming, Francis and Eugene of West Des Moines, and Marvin of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, Raymond Aller of Des Moines and Arthur Aller of West Des Moines; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from St. Patrick's Catholic church in Lee township. Burial was made in the cemetery there.
