1977Former Resident Dies in California
Joseph M. McLaughlin, 47, a native of Lee township in Madison county, died Decemter 24, 1977, in California. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. McLaughlin.
Survivors include his wife; mother, Marie of Des Moines; three sons and two daughters, all of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; also two brothers, Bob of Mason City and Pat of Des Moines.
Services were December 27, 1977 in San Luis Obispo with burial at San Luis Obispo with burial at Los Osos, Calif. Mr. McLaughlin was a resident of Des Moines before moving to California 23 years ago. He was preceded in death by his father.
