Funeral services for Mary Adah McKinney, 67, of St. Charles were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles, of which she was a member. Officiating were Pastor Larry Wheatcraft of Hudson and Pastor Gary Sammons of St. Charles. Burial was at Blair Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. McKinney died Wednesday, July 11, at Des Moines General Hospital.
The daughter of Arthur and Albert Dorrell Creason, she was born on January 18, 1912 in Doniphan, Neb. On December 31, 1935, she was married to Dale McKinney, who survives her, in Hastings, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Frances. Also surviving are two sons, Francis McKinney and Arthur McKinney, both of St. Charles; two daughters Beverly Tucker of Corwith and Evelyn Young of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Marion Creason of Doniphan, Neb.; a sister, Doris McKinney of Des Moines, and 14 grandchildren.
