Services For Ruby McElree

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. from Kale Funeral Home in Truro for Ruby Virginia McElree of Des Moines. She died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1977, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Mrs. McElree was born December 25, 1921 at Truro the daughter of Clyde and Pauline Miller. She was a graduate of Truro High School and married September 22, 1945 to William L. McElree.

Mrs. McElree worked for the Selective Service board in Des Moines, retiring in May 1976, after 30 years. She was a member of the Easton Place United Methodist Church in Des Moines.

Survivors include her husband, William, a daughter, Linda Lou Salzman of Crevesoeur, Mo.; three sons, Thomas Dale McElree of Truro, William L. McElree II of Yuma, Colo. and Michael Phillip McElree at home.

Also surviving is a granddaughter, and Mrs. McElree's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Miller of Truro.

Officiating at Monday's funeral was Rev. Melvin Miller of Des Moines. Burial was made at the Young Cemetery in Truro.
