Shane Brice McDuffey, 21, of New Virginia, died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, June 22, 1996 near Truro. Funeral services will be today, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Southtown Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be at the Sayre Cemetery in St. Charles.

He was born in Des Moines and moved to New Virginia from Truro 13 years ago. He was a construction worker and a United States Army veteran.

Surviving relatives include his mother, Kathleen McDuffey, one brother, Charles McDuffey, one sister Amee McDuffey, all of New Virginia; and grandfather, Galen Proctor of Ridgedale, Mo.
