Wilma Edna McDonald, 88, of Winterset died Dec. 30, 2001 of a respiratory ailment at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset with Terry A. Miller officiating. Visitation will be held today (Wednesday, Jan. 2) from noon to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at North McDonald Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Madison County.
Wilma McDonald was born Dec. 1, 1913, in Pottawattamie County to Charles Albert and Clara (Bray) Parker. She married Lloyd W. McDonald on Dec. 30, 1933. Wilma had been a surgery aide at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She spent most of her lifetime in Madison County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, 10 brothers and a great-grandson.
She is survived by a son, Dennis L. McDonald (wife Sheenie) of Winterset; a daughter, Norma K. Wildin (husband Larry) of St. Charles; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
