AGNES ROLLSTIN DIED SUNDAY AT NEWTON

Miss Agnes Rollstin, former Madison county resident, died at her home in Newton Sunday morning, Sept. 20th, after an extended illness. Miss Rollstin, who was 39 years of age, had been an invalid for the past 18 years.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Rollstin, former Madison county residents. She was born in Kinney, Ill. May 18, 1903 and her mother was the former Marie Hill of this county. The Rollstin family lived near Winterset until in 1920, when they moved to Newton where they have since resided. Miss Agnes Rollstin attended the Winterset schools.

She is survived by her parents, and five brothers and two sisters: Floyd, Phyllis, Donnie and Virgil Rollstin of Newton, Ernest Rollstin, who is in the U.S. army air coprs, and is stationed at Chanute Field, Illinois, and Miss Ruth Rollstin of Des Moines. She is also survived by several uncles and aunts, one of whom, C. E. Rollstin, lives near Lorimor.

The Rev. L. F. Davis, a former pastor of the family, conducted her funeral services at the Church of Christ here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

AGNES ROLLSTIN DIES AT AGE 39

Invalid For Past Twenty Years. Five Brothers, Two Sisters Survive.

Mrs. Agnes Rollstin, invalid for the past twenty years and former resident the Winterset, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. Rollstin of Newton Sunday. She was 39 years of age.

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Winterset Tuesday conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset. Interment was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Agnes Isabelle Rollstin was born in Kinney, Illinois, May 18, 1903. For a period of nearly twenty years she had been an invalid as a result of a nervous affliction. When her health failed her she was beginning her third year in the Winterset high school.

She became a member of the Church of Christ at the age of eleven and was very active in her church work.

She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. Rollstin; five brothers, Floyd, Cletus, Earnest, Donald and Virgil; two sisters, Ruth and Phyllis. Also two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Chester who died in 1920.
