CLAUDE CARRINGTON

Claude Carrington, son of George and Louisa Carrington, was born April 27, 1879 in Fairmount, Illinois, and passed away September 5, 1962 at the age of 83 in his home at 1730 Farlin Avenue, Green Bay, Wisconsin, after a lingering illness.

He was married March 12, 1902 to Lela Boyle, and began their married life in this community. To them were born two sons.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Leonard and Orvil Carrington, and his parents and one sister.

His survivors include his wife, Lela, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one brother, George Carrington of Des Moines, Iowa.

A short service was held in Green Bay before coming to his final resting place in the Penn Center cemetery. Here, under direction of the Evans Funreal (Funeral) Home, final rites were hold, with the Rev. John Latta officiating. Mrs. LaVere McCleary played “Rock of Ages.”
