Earlham, IowaServices Thursday For J. C. Brittain
J. C. Brittain, age 74, passed away Tuesday morning at the Winterset hospital. Funeral services will be at the Wilson Funeral Home Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the North McDonald cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and four daughters and seven sisters and two brothers. The sons are Joseph of DeSoto, Walter of Denver, Colorado and Eugene of Waukee. The daughters are Mrs. Earl Hubbard of Winterset, Mrs. Paul Aldrich of Van Meter, Mary Jean and Carol Ann, both of Des Moines.
Surviving brothers are Dow Brittain of Winterset and Alfred of Columbia, Missouri. His sisters are Mrs. Mae McBride and Mrs. Helen Moekley, both of Polk City; Mrs. Margaret Hooper of Wichita, Kansas; Grace Carlson of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Jane Armstrong of Mound, Minnesota; and Mrs. Alice Sewell of St. Louis, Missouri.
