James McDole Dies At Age 92

James L. McDole of Winterset died last Thursday at the Madison Manor South nursing home at age 92. Mr. McDole was a retired laborer and painter and had lived the past six years in Madison County, his former home being in Fr. Lauderdale, Florida.

Mr. McDole was born September 2, 1879 in Warren County, the son of Nathan and Martha Smith McDole. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula, his parents, two brothers and six sisters. He is survived by a sister, Phoebe McDole of Winterset, four nieces and two nephews.

The funeral was held Saturday morning at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. H. E. Borum in charge. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
