ERNEST CHARLES BROWN

Ernest Charles Brown was born April 27, 1891 at Fayette, Mo., and passed away May 20, 1959 at the age of 68 years, and 24 days. He was taken ill Wednesday morning but apparently was gaining and seemed to be on the road to recovery when without warning he quietly passed away early Wednesday afternoon.

On September 15,1915 he was united in marirage (marriage) with Clara Schwartz, who has been a faithful companion through the years. To this union six children were born, who, with four grandchildren, survive him. He was next to the youngest of a family of nine brothers and sisters.

In his passing he is survived by his loving wife, Clara, and their children: Mrs. Ruth Snyder of Pasadena, California, LeRoy Brown of Earlham, Mrs. Louise Morgan of Arcadia, Calif., Mrs. Agnes McGill of Des Moines, Robert Brown of Valley Center, Kansas, and Ronald Brown of Earlham. Surviving grandchildren are David Snyder, Craig and Chris Morgan, and Debra Brown.

Ernest is also survived by three sisters and one brother. They are Mr. Guy Proctor and Mrs. Lewis Kleasner of Columbia, Mo., Mrs. John Calbert of Fayette, Mo., and John Brown of St. Louis, Mo.

Ernest was a good man, quiet, cheerful and never was happier than when busy with his work. His interest were largely centered around his home which he greatly loved. He was baptized and joined the Methodist church in Menlo in 1923.

His passing will leave a void in the live of his family and many friends.
