Mildred McConnelee, Winterset

Mildred H. McConnelee, 81, died of a heart attack July 29 in her home. A family memorial service was held July 31 at the Winterset Cemetery.

Mrs. McConnelee was born in Keosauqua and lived in West Des Moines before moving to Winterset in 1930. She married Raymond McConnelee, March 19, 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Surviving relatives include three sons, Raymond and Glenn of California and Richard of Winterset; two brothers, Keith Anderson of West Des Moines and Kenneth Anderson of Colfax; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines.
