MRS. ETHEL MCCLURG OF EARLHAM DIES

Mrs. Ethel M. McClurg of Earlham died Wednesday, Feb. 22 at a nursing home there. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. McClurg was born at Hartford March 21, 1886. She was the former Ethel M. Hartman, daughter of George and Pauline Hartman. She was married at Jefferson on Jan. 22, 1908 to Robert O. McClurg. His death occurred in 1948.

She was a member of the Earlham Methodist church, having transferred there from DeSoto in 1952.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ivan Pryor of Earlham; a son, Lloyd McClurg of Earlham; six grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Estella Frantum of Woodward, Mrs. Pearl Maynard of Savanah, Ill., and Mrs. Hazel Pangborn of Jefferson; and two brothers, Earl Hartman of Grand Junction and Byron Hartman of Des Moines.
