Ardella "Irene" McCollom, 89, of Davenport died Sept. 29, 1998, at Crest Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the Runge Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is frim 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 at the mortuary.

Irene (Hope) McCollom was born Sept. 22, 1909 in Winterset. She married Harold Wayne McCollom on Dec. 25, 1927, in Winterset. Irene was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Grace Bognar and Eloise Joyce Boley, both of Davenport; one brother, Leland Hope of Winterset; one sister, Dorothy Knight, also of Winterset; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Handicapped Development Center.
