LOIS LAMB STOUT, Winterset

Lois Lamb Stout 79, died August 19, 1993 at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset. Funeral services were held August 23 at McLarens Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Stout was born in Stuart, Jan. 14, 1914 to Clark and Edna Doherty Lamb. She was married to Orval Dale Stout of Booneville Dec. 11, 1933. They farmed until 1956.

She had lived in West Des Moines before moving to Winterset seven years ago. She had been a counselor with the ADASI program at Broadlawns until retiring in 1986.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of West Des Moines. While in Winterset she enjoyed shut-in communion and visitation with First Christian Church of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving relatives include a son, Orval Dale Jr. of Minooka, Ill.; daughters, Roberta French of Portland, Ore.; Donna Frazier of Van Meter and Betty Frazier of Winterset and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
