Ralph Leo McClure, Patterson

Services for Ralph Leo McClure, 80, Patterson, who died Nov. 13 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital were held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Borger officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Richland, Iowa on May 31, 1903, he was the son of Albert and Rosa Pringle McClure. He had lived in Madison County since 1956, coming from Maryville, Mo., and was a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville.

On April 19, 1947 he was married to Wilma C. Walker of Maryville.

Survivors include his wife, stepsons, Joe Parker of Maryville and Jack Parker of Grant City, Mo.; daughters, Betty Townsend of Fairfield, Ia., Kathleen McClure of California, Lettie Kneedler, Sue Benge and Patty Benge, all of Winterset; stepdaughters, Betty Smith of Winterset, Fern Burns of Parnell, Mo., Arlene Carroll of Rock Springs, Mo., Venetta Robertson of Maryville, and Rose Morgan, Ila Pringer and Louise Hannah, all of Richland; a sister, Bertha Hines of New London; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 22 step-grandchildren and 43 step-great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and a sister.
