HARLEY MCCLURE DIES AT 57 YEARS

Funeral Services Were Held Sunday for Life-Time Resident There

Harley E. McClure of St. Charles died suddenly at his home there last Thursday, Jan. 21. He was 57 years of age.

Mr. McClure had spent his life at the farm three miles southeast of St. Charles in Warren County. He was born there Jan. 1, 1903, a son of Edward and Nellie McClure.

He was married at Indianola on June 23, 1926, to Frances Armstrong, who survives him. He also leaves five sons, Boyd McClure of the U.S. army, Dale, Harold and David McClure of St. Charles and Ted McClure of Des Moines; two brothers, Frank and Loren McClure of St. Charles; and two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Minard of Truro and Mrs. Horace McCrea of St. Charles; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the St. Charles Christian church, conducted by the Rev. Marlin Lowe. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
