CHARLES B. MARTIN 83, DIED SUNDAY

Aged Resident Had Lived at Madison County Home Past 10 Years

Charles B. Martin, a resident of the Madison county home for the past 10 years, died Sunday at the age of 83 years. He had lived most of his life in Iowa.

Mr. Martin was born Aug. 5, 1887, the son of Hiram and Olive Martin. In 1884 he was married to Ann Gilbert, whose death occurred in 1903. A few years later he married a second time. He was the father of several children by both marriages.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Reed Kessler of the Pitzer church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
