MRS. JAMES MCCAULEY BURIED WEDNESDAY

Former Resident Died Last Friday at Mason City; Aged 41 Years

Mrs. James McCauley, a native of Madison county died at Mason City last Friday at the age of 41 years. She had been ill for five weeks.

Mrs. McCauley was the former Olive Hogue, daughter of Wilbert and Nellie Hogue, and was born in this county on April 12, 1903. She moved with her parents to Marshalltown and then to Herrold.

She was married on Sept. 30, 1926, to James McCauley at Estherville. They lived at Blunt and Pierre, S. Dak., before moving to Clear Lake, where she was living at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Juanita Irene, both of Clear Lake; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hogue of Pierre, S. Dak.; and two sisters, Mrs. E. C. Walters of National City, Calif. and Mrs. Schmidt of Tacoma, Wash.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
