Dorothy Pearl McCauley, Winterset

Services for Dorothy Pearl McCauley, 77, Winterset, who died Dec. 16 at her residence, will be held Thursday, Dec. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Guthrie County March 13, 1908, she was the daughter of Dan and Bertha McIntyre Green. She was a lifetime resident of Winterset, a member of the Church of Christ, the ladies auxiliary of VFW, Madison County ARC and Pythian Sisters.

She was married to Theodore R. McCauley on March 7, 1927 in Madison County.

Survivors include sons, Robert of Peru, Bud of Adel, Dick of St. Louis, Mo., Ted of Winterset, Larry of Scranton and John of Creston; daughters, Goldie Wilkinson of Seal Rock, Ore., Beverly Miller of Winterset, Doris Pickens of Newport, Ore., Bert Kirkwood of Ankeny and Kay McCauley of Winterset; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, six brothers and a sister.
