Cora Lucetta Imboden Boyle, daughter of Fredrick and Louisa Fites Imboden was born June 15, 1879 in Earlham, Iowa. Cora a lifetime resident of Madison county passed away at her home in Penn township on May 5, 1974 at the age of 94 years, 10 months, 20 days.
She was a member of the Penn Center church and a member of the Ladies Aid for many years.
On February 14, 1900 she was united in marriage to Coradon J. Boyle of Dexter. To this union was born seven children. She was preceded in death by her husband, April 28, 1967, and one son Clifton, January 1, 1970.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters; Raymond Boyle, Stuart; Dale and Lester Boyle, Earlham; Ruth Boyle and Mabel Gilman, Earlham; Mildred Willison, Norwalk. Ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Final rites were held at Penn center Methodist Church May 8, 1974 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Nicholson officiating. Burial in Penn Center Cemetery.
