MRS. BETTY LUNNON DIES IN DES MOINES

Mrs. Betty Lunnon, formerly of Winterset, died Sunday, May 2, at her home in Des Moines. She was 38 years of age.

Mrs. Lunnon was the former Betty Osborn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jed Osborn of Winterset. She graduated from Winterset high school with the class of 1944, then went to Des Moines where she worked in the office of the Hammond Insurance company for about 11 years. From there she moved to the Carl Grimes and company, where she was office manager and secretary for six years.

She was married in 1946 to Fred Lunnon, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Violet Osborn of Winterset; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Mildred Hubbard of Booneville, and Mrs. Lorraine Penick of Pleasant Hill, Calif.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the First Methodist church here. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
