MACKSBURG SERVICE FOR MRS. LYALL, 50

Mrs. Marjorie Gearheart Lyall, a resident of the Macksburg community the past three years, died Sunday, June 11th at Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa. She was 50 years of age.

Mrs. Lyall was born at Brayton, Iowa April 8, 1911, a daughter of John and Alta Gearheart. She graduated from the Corning high school and immediately entered nurses training at Atlantic where she graduated a registered nurse and followed that profession.

She was married to Lamoin Lyall of Atlantic June 5, 1935. She is survived by her husband, four children, James G., Donna F., and Richard L. at home, and Arthur L. at Briggs A. F. base at El Paso, Texas; her father, John A. Gearheart and brother William of Corning, her sister, Mrs. Earl James of Villisca and a brother, Garland of Fort Worth, Texas.

As a young girl she joined the Methodist church at Corning.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Methodist church in Macksburg, conducted by Rev. M. Butts. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
