Funeral services for Rex Lull, 76, were held at Collins Funeral Home Sat. Feb. 16 with the Rev. Bob Boudewyns officiating. Lull died February 13 at his residence.
A Madison County resident for 33 years, he was born in rural Warren County September 12, 1914 to Robert and Blanche Lull. He married Willa Mae Jones at Christian Church in Truro. He was a retired salesman for the Moorman Manufacturing Company, served on the Martensdale-St. Mary's School Board for twelve years, was a charter member of Martensdale Lion's Club, coached Lillle League in Martensdale and was a member of the Methodist Church in Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, a sister and two brothers.
Surviving are his wife of Martensdale; four sons, Tom Lull and Larry Kinder of Martensdale, Gary Kinder of Mustang, Okla., and John Kinder of Bentonville, Ark.; two brothers, Loyde Lull of Patterson and Robert Lull Jr. of Martensdale; a sister, Mary Jo Tucker of Macksburg; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Wallace Cemetery of Wick. Memorials may be made to the Martensdale-St. Mary's Consolidated School.
