ERNEST RICKETTS DIED LAST FRIDAY

Had Been Resident of Lee Township for Past Seven Years

W. Ernest Ricketts, a resident of Lee township for the past seven years, died at his home there last Friday of a heart attack. He was 55 years old. Mr. Ricketts had been in aparent good health and was planning to move to Des Moines soon.

Mr. Ricketts was a native of Des Moines, and lived all his life there until moving to Lee township seven years ago. He was born June 8, 1890. He was married to Bernice Peterman of Cumberland on Aug. 30, 1915.

He is survived by his wife; four children, Mrs. Helen Robertson of Marin City, Calif., Harley Ricketts of Woodward, Rolfe Ricketts at home, and Mary Darlene Ricketts at home.

He also leaves his aged mother, Mrs. Ada Ricketts of Des Moines; two grandchildren; three brothers, Charles and Ray Ricketts of Des Moines, and Maurice Ricketts of Tacoma, Wash.; and a sister, Mrs. Louise Howe of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the McLaren funeral home in West Des Moines, with burial in Woodland cemetery.
