Funeral This Wednesday at Patterson Methodist Church
Robert Lull, a well-known Madison county farmer and a resident of the county practically all of his life, died Sunday July 10 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 66 years of age, and had been ill only a short time.
Mr. Lull was born in this county August 6, 1893, a son of Leonald and Loretta Oglesbee Lull. He farmed near Patterson for most of his life, all of which was spent in this county except for three years in Warren county.
He was married in 1914 to Blanche Hyser, who survives him.
He was a member of the Patterson Methodist church and formerly was active in the I.O.O.F. lodge.
Surviving are his wife of Patterson; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jo Tucker of Macksburg; four sons, Rex Lull of Martensdale, Roy Lull of St. Charles, Floyd Lull of Booneville and Robert Lull, Jr., of Martensdale and 15 grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Ross Sloan of Tulsa, Oklahoma and four brothers, Ernest Lull of Earlham, John Lull of Winterset, Howard Lull of Patterson and Glen Lull of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Patterson Methodist church in charge of the pastor, Rev. W. C. Trembly. Burial was to be made in Mt. Pelier cemetery near Patterson.
