April 8, 1953WILLIAM F. LOWDEN BURIED AT GREENFIELD
Funeral services were held last Friday at Greenfield for William F. Lowden, prominent Adair county farmer, who was well known throughout the west part of Madison county.
Mr. Lowden's death occurred Wednesday, April 1, at the Adair County Memorial hospital in Greenfield, following an extended illness. He was 83 years of age.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Orie Lowden of Greenfield; and a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Augustine of Winterset.
The services were held from the Bickford Funeral home in Greenfield, and burial was made in the Greenfield cemetery.
