SUSAN TAYLOR KNOX

Susan Ann Taylor was born November 11, 1863 at Earlham, Iowa, the second child of Henry and Hannah (Rollstin) Taylor, who settled in Madison county in the early sixties. Her death occurred on August 23, 1936.

She was married to Joseph Hayden Knox, February 10, 1886. They came to the Worthington neighborhood in March 1909.

They were the parents of ten children, Bernard and Beth preceded her to the homeland. Ray, of Myton, Utah; William of Springfield, Oregon; Edith Nelson of San Francisco, California; Jessie and Granville of Los Angeles, California; Anice Brown, Lois Chamberlain and Bernice Clague of Earlham. Fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brothers, Will and Orlando Taylor of Earlham, John Taylor of Myton, Utah. Two sisters, Sarah Hutchinson of Jolly, Iowa, and Cozy Ramsey of Pasadena, California.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Worthington. Burial in the Earlham cemetery.
