Harold Little, Winterset

Harold Junior Little, 68, of Winterset, died February 14, 1994, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be February 17 at 2 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating. Burial will be at the North McDonald Cemetery. Visitation will be today (February 16) from noon to 9 p.m. with family visitation from 7-8 p.m.

He was born April 15, 1925 in Madison County to Clarence Vernon and Geneva Addy Little. He married Lenore Johnson in Leavenworth, Kansas on August 19, 1946. He retired from the Winterset City Light Plant in 1987 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in WW II.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his mother; his wife; two sons, Dennis Little of Urbandale and Randy Little of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Becky Henson of Norwalk; one brother, Donald "Corney" Little of Winterset; two sisters, Ruth "Babe" Johnson of Milo and Myrna Moore of Winterset; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
