Funeral services for Charles V. Little, 68, were held June 10 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Military graveside services followed at North McDonald Cemetery. Little died June 6, 1991 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.
A lifetime Madison County resident, he was born October 1, 1922 to Clarence Vernon and Geneva Addy Little. He was a retired construction worker, having been employed by V. C. Bendroff Company. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8142 of Winterset, American Legion Post 184 of Winterset, and was a World War II Army veteran.
Little was widely known for his volunteer work with the Winterset-Madison County Airport.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his mother; two brothers, Harold and Donald both of Winterset; and two sisters, Ruth Johnston of Milo and Myrna Hope Moore of Winterset.
