Services for Thorvald N. Linge, 87, former Lorimor resident, who died Tuesday, May 14 at Holy Family Hospital at Estherville, Iowa, will be held at the Watts-Lindsay Funeral in Lorimor on Thursday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. Masonic services will be conducted by Jack Duff with Masonic pallbearers. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born Oct. 21 1897 at Estherville, he was the son of Nels and Fredricka Anderson Linge. He was married in Des Moines in 1927 to Bessie Rhodes. She died in 1973. He lived in Lorimor from 1965 to 1981 and was employed as a baker. He was a World War I Navy veteran.
Survivors include brothers, Marvin of Armstrong and Ivan of Estherville; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reinhardt of Dollivar, and Mrs. Luella Mack of Verndale, Minn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
