Services for Marie Lindsley, 81, a former longtime resident of Winterset, who died of a heart ailment July 10 at a hospital in Charlotte, N.C. where she had recently moved, were held today (Wednesday, July 13) at the McEwen Mint Hill Chapel in Charlotte. Burial was in the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Charlotte.
Mrs. Lindsley was born in Colfax but lived most of her life in Winterset.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Matthews, N.C.; sisters, Florence Anderson of Santa Monica, Calif.; Mildred Swanson of Granada Hills, Calif., and Lorraine Waddell of Redford, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
