BOBBY LEE BISHOP DIES AT 16 MONTHS

Victim of Influenza Spinal Meningitis Succumbs in Illinois

Bobby Lee Bishop, 16 month old son of Mr. And Mrs. Robert Bishop of Springfield, Ill., died at St John’s hospital in that city Sunday evening after a month’s illness with influenza spinal meningitis.

The child was born in Springfield Feb. 13, 1945, and lived his brief life in that community. The parents are former residents of Winterset.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Gene; a sister, Joan; and his grandmother, Mrs. Abe Bishop of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the McDonald funeral home in Springfield and burial was made at a cemetery in that city.
