Robert Lincoln Services Held

Robert E. Lincoln, a rural mail carrier and farmer near St. Charles for the past 16 years, died at his home on Friday, December 7. He was 46 years of age.

Mr. Lincoln was born in Des Moines on May 29, 1927, the son of Alfred and Irene Helm Lincoln. He was married to Betty Bishop on September 17, 1947 at Englewood, Calif.

Mr. Lincoln was affiliated with the St. Charles Christian Church. He was a past commander of the Winterset American Legion Post and a member of the V.F.W.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; one son, Bob; and two daughters, Becky and Rhonda, all of St. Charles. He is also survived by his parents, both of Des Moines; by one sister, Mrs. Betty Carr of Des Moines; and two brothers, Don of Des Moines and Dick of Ohio.
