Emma Lienemann, Van Meter

Emma Lienemann, 88, of Van Meter, died of respiratory failure March 4, 1995 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk. Funeral services were March 9 at the Trinity Lutheran Church near Van Meter. Burial was at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

She was born in Waco, Neb. on May 22, 1906 to Henry and Marie Scheele. She married Alfred Lienemann on April 8, 1931 in Waco, Neb. She lived most of her life in the Van Meter area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother.

Surviving relatives include one son, Bill Lienemann and wife Ann of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Jean Richardson of Tigard, Ore,; one brother, Frederick Scheele and wife Arlene of Waco, Neb.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
