Ruth Garrett Lenan, Des Moines

Services for Mrs. Ruth Garrett Lenan, 42 of Des Moines, who died Jan. 31, at her home, were held at Highland Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, Feb. 14, with the Rev. Charlie Morrow of Winterset-Patterson United Methodist Parish officiating.

Born March 13, 1942 in Des Moines, she was the daughter of Gladys and Andy Garrett of Winterset. She was a 1960 graduate of Winterset High School. Mrs. Lenan was married on Dec. 22, 1962 to Fran Lenan of Des Moines, where they lived until his death last August.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Garret of Winterset; a brother, Ray, now residing in Missouri and another brother, Phillip of California.

Mrs. Lenan was preceded in death by her husband, Fran, and by father Andy Garrett.
