MRS. WILLIAM STRABLE of St. Charles Dies

Mrs. William Strable, a life-long resident of the St. Charles community, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1963, at a St. Charles nursing home. She was 65 years of age.

Mrs. Strable was the former Isabel Banta, daughter of Ellsworth and Jessie Sandy Banta. She was born at St. Charles Aug. 10, 1897.

She was married to William Strable, who was a well-known auctioneer for many years. His death occurred in 1957.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Strable of St. Charles and Wayne Strable of Seattle, Wash; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Patrick and Mrs. Lenore Richards, both of St. Charles.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the St. Charles Christian church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. James Farrell. Burial will be made in Blair Chapel cemetery.
