MRS. GRACE YOUNG DIES

St. Charles (Special)--Mrs. Grace Young, 57, passed away Sunday evening at her home near Truro, after months of intense suffering from cancer of the bone. In the early summer she was taken to a Des Moines hospital for treatment but later was taken to her home where she was confined to her bed until her death.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Goering of St. Charles, and one son Loyd, of Martensdale, and two grandchildren. Other relatives surviving are her father, Steward Dowler and three brothers, Asa, Charles and Steward, Jr., and one sister, Mrs. Maude Hiatt, all of near St. Charles.

Funeral services were held at the Kale funeral home Tuesday afternoon with burial in the St. Charles cemetery.
